Poor little Ralph hasn’t been eating for a day now and just seems to want to curl up and sleep all the time. Not his usual playful self, I called the vet today and have an appointment at 3:30 to see if there’s something I can do to help him feel better. He’s kind of a sad little kitty right now and I hope we can get him back to the kitten he was a few days ago. Such a sad little meow as he follows me around.

The cats have gotten some slight respiratory thing as well though and I’ve been lucky enough for Mu to sneeze directly in my face several times. Ralph has a cough sort of thing going on as well. The vet doesn’t seem to be concerned since they are both eating well and very active (very very active in fact).

With the time outside of my napping (it’s part of the recovery!), I made a bunch of bias tape and am try to finish the Cotehardie of Blue. Yeah. 114″ of bias tape. Guess I get to really practice my handsewing now. At least I have netflix streaming to accompany my quest.

There are a couple events that really make me want to be closer to my family: being sick (had a cough for a week) and Sunday lunches. I miss having mom to buy me sprite and bring me crackers to eat when I napped on the couch under a blanket watching terrible daytime tv. I swear that couch had magical healing properties.

Sunday afternoons are always lazy-time at home when you’re full of a tasty lunch and just play cards, read, or pester siblings to mom’s irritation. All to the sound of dad’s puffing-sounding snore.
